Slaters 50/50

Slater's 50/50 is recognized around the country for their outrageous burger creations, and for us, they did not disappoint, coming to OOZE FEST with not one, but TWO delicious cheese items.  The Beercheese Chili Burger has is own attitude with Brandt beef, bbq spice rubbed bacon, Guinness bacon chili, Racer 5 ipa beer cheese, and kettle chips all on a thick brioche bun.  Have your burger with a side of Fried Mac and Cheese Cake with tapatio ranch.

SOCIAL Costa Mesa

SOCIAL Costa Mesa is a chef ingredient-focused, new-American inspired restaurant. They offer classic Southern dishes made with fresh California ingredients and one of a kind craft cocktails. For the event they have brought their Duck Hot Pocket to the table, made with Pimento cheese, deviled duck ham and smoked onion jam.

Polishing his acumen and techniques at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Los Angeles, Chef Cody has since been making great strides and flourishes as somewhat of a kitchen Ninja. With a personal mantra that “there are no rules” when it comes to inventiveness and creativity, Cody has finally achieved his dream of owning a spot of his own. Grits Fullerton is brought to life off the beaten Downtown Fullerton path and offers a homestyle southern inspired brunch. Here he stays true to the “no rules” attitude that has made him a game changer in the OC culinary scene. For Ooze Fest, Chef Cody invites us to try his Pollo Fundido made with fried chicken skin chips, Gruyere and White Cheddar fundido, with ground pickled pork belly.

Little Sparrow is known for their craft cocktails and globally inspired share plates. The restaurant was selected as one of the top 16 new restaurants in the United States, and was featured on the premier season of BravoTV’s “Best New Restaurant.” They won Orange Coast Magazine’s 2014 Restaurant of the Year, Best New Restaurant in Orange County Register and made the list of one of the Hottest Places to Eat on Eater. What’s on their menu? For the event, they’ve prepared an Indian fry bread with bone marrow, mac and cheese, gourmet nachos jalapeño cheese and a mozzarella stick.

Shuck Oyster Bar

Located at the OC Mix in Costa Mesa’s SOCO, Shuck Oyster Bar delivers with their fresh seafood flown in daily. These oysters are hand selected from over sixty farms, bringing the largest variety to your palate in one sitting. At this spot there is only one specific way to eat an oyster, and that’s the way that you want to. Not only are they known for their fresh seafood selection, but also their gooey grilled cheese. These masters of melted goodness will bring us the Apple Cheese Empanada at Ooze Fest.

La Sriracha Racha

La Sriracha Racha is offering a Churro Ice Cream Sandwich, made with Mexican spicy Racha cheesecake ice cream between a churro sandwich. La Sriracha Racha is a premium hot sauce made of Sriracha and Mexican peppers, brought to you by LA Culinary Inc.

The Crow Bar and Kitchen

The Crow Bar and Kitchen is no stranger to food pairing with their beverage menu. The Gastropub cuisine consists of classic pub food with a gourmet touch as well as other specialties procuring local, farm fresh ingredients, whenever possible. For the Ooze Fest they’ve prepared the Taleggio Tarragon Mouse Arancini with Pear Relish.

The Grilled Cheese Truck

ot just the classic bread, butter and cheese, but amazing creations that are constructed with the best ingredients, local produce and made with nothing but love. The Grilled Cheese Truck brings us one of our favorite comfort foods, reinvented. Prepare to dine on the Fully Loaded Cheesy Mac and Rib Melt, made with sharp cheddar cheese, southern style mac and cheese, house smoked BBQ pork and caramelized onions.

Blackmarket Bakery

Chef Rachel Klemek grew up in the South and received her influences by her two sugar-loving grandmothers. Needless to say, Chef Rachel shows the community the importance of fundamentals; butter, flour, sugar and eggs. At Blackmarket Bakery they consider baking and eating cookies a form of communication. The goal is to create a conscious moment of indulgence, which is sure to happen at Ooze Fest with their Pumpkin Whoopie Pie with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Mousse.

The beer list continues to grow, featuring local breweries and beers that locals love.
